Would I use a 2 connector or a 3? null

This portable hard drive comes with a 3.0 USB cable connector that can connect to any 2.0 USB or 3.0 USB connection port on your computer or Mac.

You can use either. The 3 would be faster but the 2 will work just as well but will take longer

It may be plugged into USB 2 or 3 but works fastest with a USB 3 connection.
