“Has this been testing gaming on Steam? Good speed? Is it good for games that use a lot of storage? I have a lot of games and would like a portable storage without slow speeds, if possible.”

You can keep any data in the drive or you can use it for computer backups. Please check with the device vendor whether the WD drive will support the device.
