It should work with vista. If not you can always re-format the drive with your vista operating system
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Vista is not USB 3 compatible. It is USB 2.0 compatible. The nice thing is USB 3 is backward compatible so it will work, but at the slower USB 2 speeds.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. It should be, I have used a Passport with every version of Windows since 2007. The only problem I have ever had with any of them is when the USB port (usually a USB 2) does not supply enough power to the Passport for it to run. This is a motherboard issue and not an operating system issue. I have only seen this happen on an older motherboard that was running Windows 10 Pro at the edge of the minimum system requirements to run Windows 10 with other USB devices attached. It is a USB 3 device but is backward compatible to USB 2 and has worked well for me on both connections.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. It might be. I used it with a USB 2.0 connection and it worked!
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Plug it into your computer's USB Jack. Then on Your computer look for the passport drive. Once you found it you should be able to access it just like any folder on your computer.
