Q: QuestionI have a HP Pavillion windows 10 laptop and wonder if it is comparable with WD Passport. Model WDBYNN0010BBK-WESN? I just purchased it yesterday but was never questioned by the sales person about the type of computer I have so I thought it was universal.

Q: QuestionIs there is designation on the passport to indicate how many teribites it is?, I have 2 of them but no size designation on either.

• A:Answer From what I've searched on their product info, you can tell the size from the Model # (P/N). The last two digits followed by a set of letters (which in my case is 10 because I own a 1TB drive). So if you own a 2TB, it will have 20 and so forth. It's complicated but there you go. Hope this helps!

Q: QuestionWhat's the difference between this and the Passport X? I can get a 4TB of this model for the same price of a 3TB Passport X. I can't find any information really stating the difference between them. I'd be using it mainly for Xbox One Storage.

• A:Answer Jake, this is a late response. I am sure you discovered the difference for yourrself by now. I own 4 of the My Passport drives. None of them the X model. As near as I can tell, after doing some quick research, the difference is that the X series is preformatted with Fat32 to enable it's instant use on a XBox (360, One, One S and One X). The My Passport series is formatted with NFTS, making it preferrable to PC users. I myself, own every model XBox made and did not know this.

• A:Answer Yes, it comes with many free apps if you connect the drive and open a widow to it you should see WD Discovery. Click on it load the app the open the app WD Utilities. Then click on the settings icon in the upper right corner go to User Guide, the instructions for setting the password are there.

• A:Answer I copy iPhone photos and videos onto my laptop’s hard drive. Then I can save the photos and videos onto the Passport. I copy the files from the laptop hard drive onto the Passport. I don’t know of a way to transfer files directly from a phone to Passport.
