“I cant view My Passport.... Apple store loaded all my info from a dead Mac to My Passport. When I plugged in the device to my new computer, it allowed only for me to create a "shortcut" on to my desk top but I cant open to see it's contents. I need my resume' and right click only shows options for rename, delete, properties, etc. Nothing that allows me to open and view.......”

Try opening up the files in the Passport and copy them over as needed. Its a bit of a pain, but it will work if the files are actually on the Passport.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.It seems you went form a Mac to a Windows PC. Windows will not read a Mac formatted drive unless you purchase a software such as MacDrive 10. You can search the web for other options, there are plenty
