“Can I back up Vista files to this hard drive?”

• Yes,you can. If you connect it through your USB port and follow the instructions, it will work with Windows Vista. If your laptop is down like my laptop is, I found out that you can connect it as an external harddrive and use F8 to recover and transfer files before doing a factory restore.

• Yes - it will work with Windows versions back to XP; not sure about earlier versions.
