You'll have to import your CDs into your iTunes music library and from there, you can use the WD - My Personal Passport to back up files and transfer to another computer. After authorizing the other computer to be used with your iTunes account, move the files into iTunes from the Passport and Sync your iPhone with iTunes using either the 30-pin or lightning connector.

You might find a cable for $20 that could go from lightning to USB "C" and a large thumb drive that could hold hundreds of albums. I don't think it would work with iTunes. Just trying to give you some ideas to research. I haven't done it.
