Hi there! Yes, it will work on prepaid phones. As long as the prepaid phone's carrier uses Verizon, AT&T, T-Mobile, or other US/Canadian carriers' towers, then it will work. I know Straight Talk uses some of the bigger carriers' towers, so it works fine for prepaid carriers like that.
