My microwave does not sit on the bracket will this cause a problem
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.The 2 up tabs are meant to be bent down. Use these tabs/holes if you have to use the 2 toggle bolts provided. Then make sure to mount bracket at least within 1/8 of the bottom of the cabinet and centered. Make an effort to find a stud or 2 to mount the bracket to. I use some the extra screws drilled into the holes provided for more support. Use a partner to hold up the unit, approximate where the bolt holes should be drilled in the bottom of the cabinet. The 2 long bolts/screws with large flat washers will come down thru the bottom of the cabinet into the 2 slots near the top front of the microwave. DO NOT over tighten these 2 bolts. The protruding lips on the bracket is what the back of the microwave sit on.
