This Whirlpool® Microwave has to be installed over a Range.

The included bracket requires a wall to mount to. The front of the microwave is supported by bolts that come through the cabinet, but the back is supported by the bracket you mount to the wall. I don't see a way to easily modify this to use without the bracket, so I recommend contacting Whirlpool to see if they can advise you.
