“Does Whirlpool (preferably) or other manufacturers make a 36” stainless above range microwave which is the width I have with the hood that I want to replace with a microwave with the built in vent?”

I don't believe they do in this low profile design ...BUT you can instal it centered with 3" space at each side or use fillers matching cabinet finish!
