“Has anyone else had an excessive amount of water (more than normal condensation) on the walls of this microwave? IThere is so much water that the inside of the microwave has rusted!! It is vented outside (back wall).”

I have not seen water inside the microwave, but we also have a wall vent. It was very cold the day I installed the microwave, and I saw a lot of water condensate inside the wall vent from warm moist inside air contacting the cold metal of the wall vent duct. You may have something similar happening. Is the outside vent sealing properly when not in use?

I'm not an engineer, but my guess is that it has something to do with the fact that the unit has that very low profile. The unit is whisper quiet, and doesn't have a annoying sound at end of the cycle. It's a great microwave with the exception of the condensation issue.
