QuestionTrying to understand the difference between "Black Stainless Steel" and "Black" color. Is the plain "Black" color a matte finish or glossy?

- Answer Black stainless steel is exactly what it sounds like. It is actually an appliance where the stainless steel has been tinted black, and yes it is shiny just like stainless steel. The plain black is just black. Sorry I can't tell you if the plain black is glossy or matte. I haven't gotten to see that color in person. I will say I have seen Whirlpool use both glossy and matte black finishes, though, so if it matters you might want to pursue it a bit more.

QuestionCan you describe the material, shade, sheen and texture of the plain black side by side Whirlpool 28 cf refrigerator? Not interested in marks or scratches in st steel. Bring back the durable textured acrylic fronts!

Questiondoes it have a digital temp for both fridge and freezer on the outside. I want to be able to walk by the fridge and glance at a digital temp. this way you know before 100's of dollars of food spoils
