how much clearance around the refrigerator is recommended
Answered by GE AnswersThis model requires 2" of clearance at the back, 1" at the top, and 1/8" on each side for proper air circulation. If the refrigerator will be installed in a corner, allow 3-11/16" of clearance from the side of the case to the adjacent wall to open the freezer door to a 90° angle. To open the fresh food door to a 90° angle, allow 3-3/4" of clearance from the side of the case to the adjacent wall. For additional installation details, please refer to page 19 of the Installation Guide. Does this unit come with a refrigerator ice & water drip tray? Our's was delivered yesterday and did not have this piece.

Answered by GE AnswersThis model requires side clearance for proper door operation and swing. At 90°, the freezer door requires approximately 3 11/16" and the fresh food door approximately 3 3/4" of clearance from the side of the case to adjacent wall. When fully open, the freezer door requires approximately 14 1/8" and the fresh food door approximately 19" of clearance. For complete installation details, refer to the installation instructions on page 19, available on the product page under " Features" by scrolling to the bottom and selecting the Installation Guide.
