Is there a way to shut off the door alarm feature? null

The door alarm only chimes when you leave the door open for a few minutes. It doesn’t chime every time you open it. I do not know if it can be turned off, I personally like it on. My husband leaves it open all the time! Sorry I was not any help.

To mute the audible alarm while keeping the doors open, such as while cleaning the inside of the refrigerator, press any button on the control panel. The alarm sound will be temporarily turned off, but the Door Ajar icon will still be displayed on the dispenser control panel. Hopefully this information is beneficial to you.
