“Just got WTW4955HW w/ Deep Water Wash. Ran empty using Deep Water Wash and it only filled about 25% of the drum. Why? The Whirlpool website states: "you can set the knob to the Deep Water Wash setting & washer will fill to the maximum water level."”

This machine has a sensor to adjust water level to the size of your load to save energy. Whirlpool maximum water level is relative because it’s the maximum water level based on laundry load size
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I was also cofused by this so I re read about it,So think what it means is it adds more water then the machine thinks it needs. Mine has never filled to the max either..
