Where is the heat source?   (2 Answers)

This oven was in the new house I bought. There is an element on the top for broiling, but no element on the bottom, where does the heat come from on the bake cycle? There is no fan so this so it is not the convection oven.

Its my understanding that the bottom element is just covered by the oven which makes cleaning up spills or cleaning the oven super easy.

Hello CDR, the oven will take approximately 12 to 15 minutes to reach 350°F (177°C) with all of the oven racks provided with your oven inside the oven cavity. Higher temperatures will take longer to preheat.

It would be covered by the fit guarantee, but that's no guarantee that it will fit ! Home centers don't have a clue about "built-in" ovens and cooktops, they let you "fend for yourself. Contact your local independent appliance dealer, there is a simple solution.
