I looked in the owners manual and I don't see soap pods mentioned anywhere. This machine requires High Efficiency HE liquid soap poured into the machine. I would think that a pod, inside a machine that doesn't "fill up" like the older style machines may not dissolve very well and your clothes wouldn't get clean. And it says the regular soap will over suds and leave soap residue in your clothing and create mold & mildew.
