- Answer Yes the broiler is in the bottom shelf and yes there is a "Broiler" button on the controls. May need to leave it in longer or turn up the level of heat. Not real sure as my wife is the cook at our house.

- Answer The broiler IS on the bottom. The second oven rack is shared between the oven and the broiler, meaning if you need to use the broiler you have to transfer one rack from the oven to the broiler.
