- Answer Hello, the unit is designed to show those selections for the life of the appliance. However if cleaned with harsh cleaners or abrasive product could cause the wording to come off. We hope this helps.

- Answer Yes, gas would flow during an electric power outage but the electronic igniter would not work so you would have to use a match or lighter to ignite the burners.
