- Answer Quite honestly, I have not noticed any more heat from this oven than my old GE gas range. My son is 14 so I have not paid too much attention to this.

- Answer Yes, I believe it will. I had a conventional hood, which worked OK. I then replaced the hood with an "over the stove" microwave that has a vent as well, and it works fine. Is that your question?

QuestionSpecs list a hidden bake element. Does this mean the oven is electric? I am wanting gas (converted to propane) burners and oven. Are there side panels or is this a true slide in with no sides?
