It is flat, but the hinges on the door stick out slightly.

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Hi, and thank you for your interest in our appliances. The door is flat, but there is a slight bulge for the hinges and the handle. These are less than 1/2" outward, but the door itself is flat.

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Yes it does. Total dimensions of the dryer are as specified, but the footprint is a couple inches smaller than the total depth. Keep in mind another 5-6 inches behind the dryer are required for the vent hose unless you reconfigure to vent from the side, which according to the manual is possible, but probably not easy.
