“Does it work in a basement?”

• This is unlikely to work in a basement. the antenna needs a clear unobstructed (you house walls don't matter but aluminum siding will reduce the effectivity) in the direction of the over-the-air TV broadcast locations. The higher up you are the more likely your antenna will "see" past obstacles like other buildings etc.
