What protocol is this , wifi ?? null

Yes it uses the Wi-Fi. I believe when I set it up I needed to also use Bluetooth with my phone. I then connected it with my Google smart things in my home. So that I can use my voice to turn it on and off as well as set schedules such as when my alarm goes off in the morning the lights turn on. I don't think you need to have Google or Alexa in order to use these though. You can use it through your phone as well

You will have to use bluetooth to gain access to the bulb during setup then you will be able to control the bulb with the app thru wifi

They use WiFi to connect directly to your router, and are set up in the Wyze app. No hub required.
