I don't think they are really making that many new ones. Chip shortage didn't stop because of the crypto mining. Thank Biden policy and cooperate greed. Why would they sell you this item for $500 when they can "let" bots scoop them up and have 3rd party companies (scalpers) which bestbuy owns sell them for $800 on Amazon and Newegg.
