It depends. The previous answer that said it would not is simply not correct. PCI cards are backwards compatible. WHAT DEPENDS IS YOUR MOTHERBOARD. The slots for my hdd on the motherboard get in the way of the video card. Many double slot cards are about 10" long and 1.375" thick- and my motherboard simply will not allow video cards thicker than 1 inch, or longer that 8.25 inches.
