Can the rear speakers be mounted to the ceiling null

Not without being creative or buying a special ceiling mount. There are two holes on the rear, one is a keyhole slot for hanging from a screw. I believe the threaded hole below the keyhole is used for a mount. (See attached photo). Nothing in the manual mentions ceiling installation. Only wall. But like I said, there are ceiling mounts you can buy seperately if you just look it up.
