• It will, but only if the receiver is connected to the TV through the HDMI ARC HDMI output on the back of the receiver. The way Yamaha recommends to connect the receiver to the TV and how it is shown in the instructions is to connect the Yamaha receiver ARC HDMI output to the ARC HDMI input on your TV. Then, connect all of your devices to the HDMI inputs on the back of the receiver. You will have to go into your TV settings and enable HDMI ARC.
