“I am curious about how the Bluetooth feature works. My phone connects to it, but when I leave and am not using it anymore, no one else can connect to it. Its not allowing others to even find it. Do I have to always disconnect prior to leaving? Thanks”

Not necessarily... you have to enable bluetooth connect mode if you want to connect via different device. This enables your receiver to be discoverable and then you can connect. Hope this helps.
