• If you look in the manual, you'll find that the receiver is set to shut off after 8 hour (by default). This setting can be turned off using the remote and cycling through the settings.

• Because in the settings you can choose the hours before it shuts off.

• It shouldn't unless you or someone accidentally activated the sleep button. It happened to me a few time by accident.
