When you say 'sound fields' I assume you are talking about sound processing/eq presets. Dont think it has any. (At least that I know of). Being that it is not a 'surround sound home theatre device'. It is a simple four channel amplifier/Bluetooth/receiver with four inputs, and 2 band controls. (Bass and treble). All in all though it is a great and affordable upgrade for a receiver replacement, being that the digitally patented Yamaha Natural Sound brings out a very clean and full tone all on its own without much adjustment. Not to mention the Bluetooth which is just about entertainment enough being that you can pair it to anything giving you a multitude of listening sources at your immediate command.

I am not a fan of 'sound field' presets incorporated as a gimmick on some brands of receivers. Why would I want to do some serious music listening as if I were sitting in a stadium? My two channel system is a CROWN Straight Line Two Preamp, a CROWN DC-300A Power Amplifier, a THORENS TD-125 with a SHURE 3009 Tonearm and ORTOFON MC-3 Turbo High-Output Moving Coil Cartridge and a PIONEER TX-9500 II AM/FM Analog Tuner that is over 35 years young. No bells or whistles, no remote control anything - you have to get off your butt and turn a knob.
