You need a pre-amp Between your turntable and receiver. Your CD player will work fine directly connecting to the receiver.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. This amp accepts RCA analog inputs. It doesn't have a digital to analog converter so it doesn't take digital inputs (toslink/coax). If your turntable has a phono stage built in, then you are good to go. Just hook up via RCA cables. If your CD player has RCA outputs, the same thing. If your turntable doesn't have a built-in phono stage and your CD player doesn't have RCA out, then you'll need a preamp with phono stage and digital to analog converter. You could also buy a phono stage and a dac as separates with their own RCA analog outs.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. We have a CD player hooked in and it works great. Our old one also went and this is way better than the old one .

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I'm using a vintage NAD 5120 turntable with a Denon DL-110 MC cartridge. I have a Pro-Ject Phonebox E that I use for ripping vinyl to digital. It has the necessary RCA outputs and will connect nicely to either input 1 or 2 of the RS-202.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I do nor know, I just hooked up the RS 202 purchased today and can not get my Rega P1 to play through it. WHY?
