“Can I take the computer to the Apple for service with Best Buy total or does the computer have to be serviced at Best Buy? Thanks”

Yes you get apple care with best total, usually Best Buy will just send it to apple anyways if its physical damage, if its not physical i would go to Best Buy though because the geek squad is free
