No, peel off the backing and line it up sticks with its own adhesive.

I paid BestBuy to install mine, but, no, I believe you'd have to buy that separately if you want to install it yourself.

No... you don't need one. It has a peel and stick kind of application. It was a lot easier to apply then the version that has the spray application process.
