I use this primarily for work. It's lightweight, thin and sleek. Chrome remembers your passwords if you want that and makes moving around different sites and apps easy. I would definitely recommend this. Price is great. Not for those wishing to store a lot of docs on the device itself, but if you save to the cloud then it's perfect (or use a USB storage device).

It's small enough to fit in your backpack and is very lightweight also has a good processor and memory for the price.

I've been using the Chromebook for a few weeks, and it's performed everything I've needed it to do without issues. The webcam and speakers are average, about what I expected for $200, and the build quality is fantastic. Although made from plastic, the laptop is sturdy and can withstand being constantly transported in a sleeve. The processor can handle 10-15 open Chrome tabs without hiccup, but any more can cause lag when scrolling or watching videos (I've used Ad Blocker throughout, eliminating animated banners which may hinder performance). Overall, works well as a cheap but usable device for basic word processing and web apps.

I initially had a macbook air and it completely died on me in the middle of homework. I was on a strict budget and needed something only for school. Came across this computer and it seemed reasonable for its price. I'm able to use microsoft through google, save some documents (there's very limited space but you can always save it on google docs), the battery life is great (up to 10 hrs), and to my surprise it doesn't act up or run slow. It does not compare to a macbook air but for the price it's a steal.

Laptop is small, sleek, and lightweight. Performs just like bigger laptops. Great price.

My daughter has roughly the same chromebook at school. For some reason they are not allowed to bring them home for doing home work. So, I purchased this on for her for Christmas. She loves it. It is pretty fast and easy to use. She set it up all by herself (I don't know much about Chromebooks). She's been using it for the past month with out issue. No complaints.... :-)

Long battery life. Very thin and light. Great sound. No Windows BS hassles. No Linux obtuse command lines or maintenance. No Mac $ drawdown. It just works for peanuts. Adding the 'one-tab' extension lets me keep track of everything I am doing at work and at home. Cannot do MS Word or CAD work, but I get by just fine web surfing, reading, doing email, and watching videos. Wont do everything you may want, but you just might find, it does what you need.

This is a good laptop for grade school and college students. The volume could be a little higher.

It's a chrome book. It was meant for speed. The speed is pretty decent and you can use google docs offline. Built in virus protection via chrome book software a plus. A simple, ease to use computer. Speakers are a little low but you can sill hear as long as there is not a ton of noise in the background

The HP Chromebook is a great tool for my elderly Mom. She has always been afraid of computers, and she enjoys the simple solution to checking her email and watching YouTube videos, etc. Very pleased with the price and performance of the Chromebook. Thank you HP and Bestbuy for solving this problem.

My 7 year old enjoy this, I just wish that it did more. It is really lightweight, and seems fast. We are still playing around with it, but I was hoping we would have some sort of paint app installed.

This laptop has performed great for my son's school and research needs. Very light and sturdy.

I bought this for my eight year old son as a Christmas gift and he LOVES it. I got it Cyber Monday for a steal. The quality is as good as my laptop, but it is extremely easy to use. The set up was a cake walk and he's not had to have help using it yet. I wasn't sure about the Chromebook, I was concerned about it not being "enough" but it has far exceeded my expectations!

Very clear and large screen. Very easy to use. Love that it's a chromebook. I use that on my phone & home computer. It's going to be a great little travel computer that I can carry easily in my purse or tote bag.

This has worked great for my daughter to do school work and watch some videos.

Bought this for Internet access. It works great and is so compact. I get 11 hours off the battery. I do a lot of kindle reading also. Nice and inexpensive.

Love my new HP Chrome Book , its very lightweight and portable and has all the same features of a larger & heavier one! Its only 2.5 lbs.

Easy to use! Lightweight to carry around! I would recommend it to anyone!

Overall I'm happy with this as a replacement for my 3-year old Chromebook. It's faster than my old one and so far the battery has much longer life, but my main complaint is the screen display. The viewing angle is very small - too high or too low and the screen dims to be almost unusable. I have to turn the brightness way up, and angle the screen all the way back for it to be usable - and at that angle it just feels uncomfortable.

I love my new chromebook, It's easy to use and the power to last all day
