Geek squad
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I had a chance to review already but I keep on buying the accidental protection for three or four devices now. At the end of the day it doesn't pay off. You pay 100 + 200 + or 300 + for them replacing your battery that if found in other stores is much cheaper than 100. Most of my experiences they either delay the device so warranty expires or fix and break other items, or don't fix issue.

Telephone Geek squad was THE WORST EVER

You are paying them to charge you more. Get the extended warranty from the manufacture, they fix and return. As you an see this is my second review. Bought two laptops, both had issues that were manufacture defects, they changed me to replace them.. Charged enough I could have purchased another nice laptop.

Geek Squad not worth it
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.First day I made the appointment the subcontractor that never showed up nor did he call to inform, they reported to Best Buy "service completed". Second time, the installers came crack of dawn instead of the scheduled late afternoon time slot. The service was terrible, they did not complete the work, attempted to install the dishwasher over the dirt and dust saw they created (of course we stopped them), the service level, lack of expertise and poor attitude created a lost customer out of me. I will not extend my subscription to Geek Squad services any more.

This is a Lie and complete waste of money!

Best Buy refused to replace it and said it would be sent off for 3-5 weeks for repair due to a internal factory-installed software issue. Best Buy has lost us as a customer after spending 10's of thousands of dollars in company IT equipment. The Manager refused to honor the protection plan and issue a credit or replacement.

I gave two stars because i hate the best buy i bought everything at bear valley location in apple valley ca store ruined it for me with all best buys.

No loaner be prepared to not have a computer!

I am going a long time without a laptop. Buy from another store that has a better warranty plan! They also made me purchase a new hard drive use to guarantee I would have my data. Probably the worst plan you could get! I have been a long time customer of Best Buy but was disappointed this time. It’s a shame that there customer service is so lacking.

Disappointing
