    absolute beast at running stuff, however it constantly locks up, overheats if shut, keyboard overheats, has wifi issues, fingerprint sensor issues and much more

    purchased plan hoping to never need it. Well the screen broke. They want $79 to ship it to be fixed! What was the point of the plan? Zero stars if i could.

    buyers beware that whatever you buy here and have a full insurance on it may never be repaired replaced for you if you have any issue with it

    Geek Squad vis a vis Best Buy would not honor the 3 year plan on a replacement unit for defective computer I bought.

In that situation, the plan would be fulfilled, and if you wanted to continue coverage on your new product, a new plan would be needed.     Misleading program. They tell you the GS will set up to 5 electronics at home up or make them compatible but then after you've purchased the package they tell you they do not come to your gon6e. Or charge more to come to your home.

    I was charged $99.99 for a 2 month old laptop purchased to re-install operating system that failed after 2 months of owning the laptop and protection plan. This service is garbage.

    The geek squad didn’t even want to help me when I brought my computer in and told me that they couldn’t do anything because I bought a cheap computer ! Literally DONT WASTE YOUR MONEY.

    They have not been able to help me set up my new computer. My laptop came with S-mode. They were not able to help me with it. Very disappointed.

    Purchased this when I bought my laptop. I have never used it. Besides I think if something went wrong the first year wouldn’t the manufacturer cover it? To me, waste of money but I guess if I needed it, I would not feel that way

      Hi Leenie1014 – While most computers do come with a one-year warranty, our Geek Squad Protection plans cover things that the manufacturer does not. For example, your plan would cover drops and spills, while a manufacturer’s warranty will not. I hope that you’ll continue to purchase Geek Squad Protection Plans going forward.
