I got this 4k on sale for 14.99. I have to say I was shocked how good the movie looks to be so old. Definitely worth the price.

It's Kubrick!! It's Clarke!! There's HAL!! Monkeys!! Monoliths!! Space!! Strauss' music!!... If I have to tell you what this movie is, you really were born yesterday. A must.

A classic movie, remastered into HD format. The price was so good I felt i should be giving them more for this. I ran out of the store like I stole something.

A body should see this film just because it has a lot of scenes that everyone talks about: the apes seeing a man--made structure when man had not developed yet, Hal the computer getting ideas about bossing around man, etc. See it just so you'll know what people are talking about when people discuss this movie 's iconic moments.

Seems like the movie is rather polarizing. You either love it or don't care for it. But it was beyond its years and still holds up well today.

This is one of the most prolific films ever made. While it's certainly not an easy watch it is definitely a worthwhile one. The presentation on this disc is stellar as well.

After a long wait and delay, I finally picked up 2001: A Space Odyssey for 4K. If you are into sci-fi, this is a classic for the collection.

What is there to say? If you fully understood the movie then you probably didn't really get it. If you don't really know what happened then Kubrick succeeded.

2001 never looked this good. A great little set with nice artwork. If you haven't already, read the books!

The 4K version is amazing in terms of sound and picture. It is worth the upgrade if you have it in a previous format.

I have looked & looked for this DVD and for a good price. Couldn't find until I found it on Best Buys website and the price was excellent. Worth the money!!
