I can’t believe this movie is over 50 years old. The visual remastering is amazing and unbelievable on my LGOLED. The audio beautifully done and sounds amazing with Atmos. I highly recommend!

This movie was a stone cold classic before the 4K remastering. Now it is beyond description. The re-mastered surround sound adds even more. Highly recommended if you have a 4K player.

2001, a definitive sci-fi film of all time (so far) has never been seen better. Even the 2007, Blu-ray edition is bested by this version in image quality. Can't recommend highly enough!

One of my all time favorite movies I had the Blu-ray allready but this was on sale and I had to get it for when I get 4 k. Everything looks great from what I’ve seen and extras too.

One of the few true 4K releases 2001 will look exceptional on your 4K set. With remastered Video and Audio and a lovely collectors box any true fan of this classic will be very happy.

Chris Nolan the director took the time to convert this watershed film to 4K with tender loving care so I had to have it. Still stands up all these years later and looks amazing in UHD.

I would give this film 20 stars if I could. After multiple delays, this 4K UHD bluy ray arrived 16-December. My daughter and I are huge Kurbick fans and given the delays getting this shipment, we eagerly anticipated watching this movie on our 75 inch 4K Oled TV. I was afraid I was going to be disappointed with the transfer given the anticipation......but boy was I wrong. The film is iconic....We all know that....but I must say, this 4K transfer is one of the best transfers I have even seen. Kubrick's masterpiece has never looked this good.. Simply amazing....the clarity, the color the sound... The steelbook is cool no doubt but with this movie who cares about the case, right? What is inside the steelbook is what is important here and this one is glorious....Get this movie, watch it, think about it...and enjoy this classic movie in 4K glory. AMAZING !!!!

Groundbreaking film from one of the great directors of our time. The special effects hold up even under 4k resolution. Raised the bar for what a science fiction movie could be. Get it!

One of the best sci-fi movies of all time, it's incredible and 4K.

This movie has defined the genre since it's release. I consider this a must own movie for sci-fi fans so the 4K upgrade was a no-brainer for me. Buy this if you have a 4K setup.

If you like the movie then the visuals will pop on a 4k screen. I haven't seen this movie in at least 10 years and I had forgotten how long some of the space scenes were. They do drag on a bit. It's neat to see tablet computers so accurately predicted in the late 60's. That's something I like about Science Fiction, the prediction of the future.

The 4k version of this classic is a revelation. I saw it when it was first released, but I think the colors are even more vibrant than I remember. Highly recommended

We aren’t creative like this in movies anymore. So many cool ideas and concepts in this movie some of which became reality.

My local best buy did not have this in stock for a long time. So when I saw only one sitting on the shelf I had to pick it up. Classic movie that pops a little more in 4k.

It’s that one movie that I will say you probably just don’t get if you say it’s bad. Even for me I didn’t get it till about my 4th-5th time watching it but it was worth it
