Easy to use. My 5 year old loves it. I think the 2ds is perfect for him.

I love the build in game. My 2 year old loves it, he doesn't let anyone touch or play with it.

My daughter lo es and takes it everywhere. It has been great especially for long trips.

I have purchased two of these systems for my kids rather than purchasing an iPod for mobile gaming. It is cheaper and much more durable. And using the eshop you can download classic Nintendo games for less than $5 - which means no lost cartridges and no breaking the bank. My kids are 5 & 7 and it's cool seeing them get in to the games that got me into gaming.

My kids ages 13 to 2 all love playing it even though it is not a 3 DS.

Nintendo has come through again. Known for their attention to price Nintendo has stripped out the 3D feature on their flagship 3DS handheld to deliver gaming on a budget. The 3D feature is something most gamer's turn off anyway. Pros: Value, simply put. This handheld covers most of your mobile gaming needs. Cons: The design of the 2DS does not allow for you close the lid like you do with other flip style Nintendo handhelds. I prefer to close the lid on handhelds as screen protection is very important. If you purchase this I would suggest a screen protector film like the one offered by Hori. The only other con is that this system lacks the processing power of the 3DSXL - you're mostly fine with this but some games (only a few) may chug a bit.

My son loves his 3ds. Battery lasts a long time. Very satisfied.

My children really enjoy their new Nintendo DS. It has been wonderful for long trips.

I purchased this nintendo 2ds for my 6 yr old son. I've owned a nintendo 3ds XL for a couple of years now and he was obsessed with it. He wanted a 2ds and although it does not have the option to display games in 3d, everything else is still the same. My only complaint is the size of the screen, but it isn't for me, it's for him and he loves it...so I'm happy.

Works great for my son's 5th birthday. Can't beat the price compared to the 3Ds model.

Bought a few of these for my kids at Christmas. We love the new design after owning a 3DS system for years. If you’re an adult gamer this newer design is much easier to hold onto than the older systems. My kids enjoy them but seriously, set some limits and take your kids outside to play if possible or just wrestle and horse play. Video games are fun but kids enjoy you as a parent even more. Peace!

Screen is too small, but I guess I should have dropped the extra few bucks on the XL.

The game is perfect for my 6 year old however my 4 year old isn’t quit old enough
