So glad I have 2 year protection for my Sony camera at a decent price.

If you buy anything tech related, you should never purchase without extended coverage. Just to be safe and ensure you can get out repaired or exchanged without hassle or additional fees. Get the Geek Squad coverage. Every. Time.

4 years of protection is great, I’m glad they give you an option to secure it for a long period of time as i will be hiking a lot and need the protection!

My wife is a photographer, her 1900 dollar camera lenses that she major uses would not focus. We took it to geek squad to have repaired, there was apparently a problem in it that they could not get the parts in a acceptable time frame for them so the replaced it with a new one. My wife was totally excited. We highly recommend the Geek Squad.

Four year protection is definitely recommend to have.

Bought a Sony lens open box in EXCELLENT condition, did not work at all, took back next day. With a mfg warranty and additional BB warranty, sent to repair, 4 weeks later, not repairable. BB email Geek Squad APPROVED NEW REPLACEMENT, NOT STORE CREDIT. Went to store and 4 phone calls with CS, told only store credit, even though 2 warranties and approval for NEW REPLACEMENT. Didnt even refund for the warranty we paid for. But Best Buy will get their money back from Sony MFG. Crappy way to do business bestbuy, from a loyal customer of over 20 years.

I highly recommend everyone to pay a little extra for the geek squad protection plan. I purchased the plan for my OLED LG TV. I just used the plan cause my lg tv had screen burn in. Geek squad technician came out assessed the issue, ordered a new screen and once screen came in they installed the replacement. The technician’s were knowledgeable and friendly. I was so glad I purchased the extended warranty as the factory warranty had already expired. In fact my geek squad is going to end this November so just in time. I didn’t have to purchase a new tv. Thanks again geek squad.

Best protection you can get for equipment no hassle if things do break. Service is impeccable l recently had another camera fixed thru a different warranty program an it took almost 3 months to be repaired. Never got updates on how the repair was going had to call and bug them. Geek squad is always fast & efficient & you don’t have to call because you are constantly updated. Shining Star of warranties!
