||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.This wheel is as heavy as advertised. It doesn't last more than 20 miles though. Even at low level. It's fun to tool around the neighborhood in, but I can't take it on a club ride because I wouldn't get very far. It is way too heavy to use without power. It's great going up a hill! I'd recommend it, as long as you understand it has its limitations!

This includes which level assist you select (low, normal, high) and also variables of your ride environment, i.e. rider/bike weight and terrain. The Wheel Just Would not Fit - Not TREK Compatible

Electron Wheel stated I needed to wait for 14-days for a replacement part. It still does not work. I would avoid. Go elsewhere for a better wheel.

We've worked hard to engineer a product which is as universal as possible, but in some rare cases, we do experience some fitting issues. In these cases, we pride ourselves on working with each customer individually to resolve, as we did our best in your case. Unfortunately the 2 week lead time in this situation was due to the custom part we engineered for your system. Though Trek is a very common brand, there are many variations of fork angle and type which can sometimes present challenges with our torque lever system. We regret this delay, and recognize your frustration. I truly apologize you did not find this solution satisfactory, and did not get an opportunity to enjoy the unique benefits of Electron Wheel. Great electric bike alternative

Nice to have the extra help when I want it, but still able to ride without assist when desired. Was looking at $2K plus ebikes, but happy with the choice to go this way. I need flexibility to ride an ebike, and a traditional bike, as not all trails in my city allow full ebikes. Electron wheel fits well on my Vita, and allows me to take on and off as desired. Also looked at the other options on the market in terms of wheels (Geo, Copenhagen) but felt Electron was the easiest to install, was priced right, and looked much better. Happy with the purchase.

Delivers on all fronts, super fun to ride around the city and for assist up hills. Cool to be able to record rides through the app. What they say is true, you can ride without the phone if you want to keep it simple. Installed on my commuter bike and girlfriends dutchie. No issues.

I use mine on the way to work, which is awesome because now I don't show up huffing and puffing and covered in sweat (my office is at the top of an unnecessarily steep hill). I'm toying with getting my dad one of these for Father's Day. He loves cycling, but he's getting a little older and it's not quite as easy on his knees anymore. Think this might be the perfect solution for him. Overall, YES, recommend!

I love it it helps when I need it and once he has biked me all over the place I can put it in normal on just relax. I think this is great for commuters and liesure especially if you have a husband or wife that can bike for hours and you cant or dont this is awesome.
