Not at all like the version I had back in the late 1990's I suppose this is what the kids are using these days. Cannot find the usual controls and functions but perhaps it is because they are not important and what they offer today is better. Don't take this as a negative review. I haven't really gotten into this software yet and am only writing a review because Best Buys keeps sending me request to review it.

I really thought I couldn't miss on this purchase. I was wrong. Everything I've always felt about Adobe and their use of PDF's and about licensing software in general came to a head on this particular purchase. First of all, it went available for 30$ cheaper like a week after mine was eligible for return, and that was after it went on sale from 150 to 99.99 when i bought it. Well, to be honest I would've preferred to have the 99.99 back because everytime I go to use the product it seems to be wanting me to enter my serial code again, despite the code being right there on the website in my account. Adobe help is good, but any help is bad when you have to use it so often. I think what happened to me was a fluke, and might just be my fault in the end, and maybe this is more about having to pay for software that is deemed the best, but is it really? I found out I could get another program for free that is better in a lot of ways. And then I found out the one thing that I really have to have is not available in this version of Premiere, only in Premiere Pro. Welp, if you're an investigator, don't buy this for surveillance videos, unless you got another program to do your timestamps custom.

I had to call adobe to get it activated.Which I didn`t know why.There should`ve been a warning label about it.For future customers.

I upgraded to this product from Elements 13. While the features are a great upgrade I was very disappointed regarding the ability to burn to a HD DVD which the older version gave me that ability. Adobe believes in the image and video world is going to the cloud, I myself believe in a DVD backup features and also sharing my products with grandparents with DVD players.

I am sure this will work out well. I want to get more room on my computer before I install it. I have to wait until your store opens first.

Newbie in this type of software, but it is easy to learn and use, so far it does what I want fixing some pictures and at a good price

Always hesitated until BestBuy had this software up for basically a 33% discount. How could I pass up on that one? Done deal.

Got it for my girlfriend. It is basic compared to the full version, but we did not want a subscription product

I did not realize that once you got this you had to pay to use it after purchasing it. I think it was a monthly fee. If you don't mind having a monthly fee, I guess it would be good because the company has been around for a long time.

Rye program is easy to install amd easy to navigate. You can use the program without having to purchase a monthly subscription.

Why pay for the whole Photoshop software? Elements will provide more than enough tweaks and effects for amateur photographers.

This is my first time using what I believe is an advanced photo and video editor and so far I am very happy with it. When using the “auto” functionality, I am usually happy with the result. More importantly, is how much more creativity this allows for. The software does a great job at suggesting things to try when you first open it up using the icon called “Adobe Photoshop Elements”. Whether using it for photo or video editing, it offers suggestions such as manipulating video by dropping in pictures, posting your creation to social media, manipulating photos or videos in order to make them more appealing or interesting depending on what you are trying to accomplish. The next important part of the package is the Elements Organizer. This is where you import your media in order to have it all in one place for you to open items, manipulate them and save your creations for easy discovery when you are ready to reopen or otherwise work on your media. There are buttons on top that help you organize the files (pictures, videos), sort by people, places, and events. This comes in really handy when creating something for a person or group, vacation or that tour you took in the city of old buildings, etc. The individual products for photos and videos are Photoshop Elements Editor and Premiere Elements Editor respectively. Each of these offers similar options such as color management, cropping, and your typical photo or video options but what I think is the best part is what is called “Fun Edits”. This is where the software helps you get very creative. Within photos, you can do things like creating interesting effects, add overlays, change from your typical style to an antique look or perhaps add text. Inside of the videos module you have options such as creating titles with your video behind it, create animations, manipulate frames that add special impacts, change colors, add voices or music, etc. This is just a small set of what you can do with this software. I have only just scratched the surface but I am very happy with it and would certainly recommend giving it a try. I don’t think the casual videographer or photographer would be disappointed at all.

Just purchased, only experimented with so far but definitely going to be worth it in the long wrong for picture editing.

Have used it for a long time. I appreciate many of the new additions as it improves, but miss the parts I'm so used to.

Great software for editing photos. Easy to install and setup. Still learning all of the capabilities.

Great product!! There is a lot to it I have yet to try, but I'm learning and making great additions to my photos

Gives a great way to organize my digital photos. I need to use this more to figure out all the features it offers.

Great software can be a little hard or shall I say too technical to use. But does produce great output.

Unfortunately this software cost too much money and it is very slow program to be able to do anything but there is a lot of features on here just wish they had a new update to fix the Slowdown every time you click on an option when editing a photo.

Since the purchase I have learned many new things with the software looking forward to seeing what else I can do
