Screw hole improperly threaded

The threading on one of the screw holes was messed up. I was careful to make sure the screw was going in straight, swapped other screws for the same hole, but whichever screw I tried in this one hole would not budge past a few turns...which means this screw isn't doing anything to hold the seat to the back.
Given the price of high quality chairs, I knew this chair wasn't going to be great, but it cost enough that I thought at least it would assemble properly.
Also, the tilt "lock" doesn't actually prevent the chair from tilting a little bit. In quality chairs, the lock prevents the chair from tilting at all.
