Dell is Dell (out of frankness as a past long timed Mac user) a solid, NOPE, A STUNNING MACHINE!!! You only should expect of but a consequent, constant pleasure from playing it. Intelligent and beautifully sophistical firm-soft wares care, delivered through Dell, yet (winks) of course, if you got a clue on how to run it!

Owned this Pc from nearly 3 months now and out of the box my Alienware Aurora 13 runs fast and smooth! Nearly 250 fps on games like Call of Duty, Destiny, and The Last Of Us!

I upgraded from a laptop to the Alienware Aurora 13 Gaming Desktop. It runs so smooth. I love the lights and the see thru side. Not as bulky as I thought it would be. It sits on my desk, and I still have plenty of room.
Awesome computer. Lightning fast. Upgraded to 128 RAM and 3 TB hard drive. Love it.

Returning it. I got video with audio stutters on games and VR. After 5 days of research it seems like an issue with R13 and R15. I was expecting flawless gaming for $3,000 dollars, but was sadly disappointed. Don’t waste your money. One star rating is too many.

I had to get mine replaced. It had issues 3 days after buying it. Local tech guy said he had to watch You Tube videos the night before which did not bode well. He messed up and didnt connect an internal power cable and had to come back. Very peeved he used refurbished parts after my computer broke after only 3 days of ownership. He replaced almost everything inside! Had to have more than one visit and replacing of graphics card, ram, motherboard, chip, etc. Still broken. BUT Alien Ware tech support exchanged entire computer after I asked them to. They added a better graphics card, more ram and another hard drive. No issues since the replacement. Very pleased with how its running. Best Buy sales person didn't know anything about the computer nor how AW gives you over a year of in home tech support.

Bought in dec 22. Now july 23. Initially was an ok performer, not what you would expect from specs however. After 7 months, have nothing but issues. Dell support is worthless and wants to charge $100 just for tech support, even though under warranty. Support tells me nothing wrong with hardware. Updated bios, all software, even a total clean install as well as an install from microsoft direct. System is very slow, support assist works 25% of the time from out of the box. Started getting very laggy after 2 weeks with absolutely no software beyond out of the box software. I have trouble shot everything up to and including change of memory, upgraded both hard drive and memory, went back to factory hardware, ran all hardware and software checks. Flashed bios and updated drivers for bios. still running like a windows 95 pc. Support tells me it is a software issue, even though i explained i have done all of these- factory reset, clean install, system reset, wipe clean and reinstall from backup, rolled back everything to factory, install from windows cloud with no alienware software, installed from second hard drive, done an install without recovery and updated all drivers and software. repeatedly ran hardware check with support assist when it loads, ran hardware check in f12 boot menu, in every hardware config. The only thing i have not swapped out is motherboard and graphics card. Still beyond slow. I had a 2009 asus rog laptop with a gen 3 i7, 16gb ddr3, and outdated graphics card whos fans no longer worked, and ssd that ran twice as fast and performed significantly better than this, as well as running win 7. If i had to do all over again i would definitely go another route. this cost me at the time $2400, not counting doubling the memory and having to add second hard drive as it came with 1gig. I am beyond unhappy with this system. and ALL support from dell has been worthless. Look elsewhere for a better, or just build yourself as you can definitely do better than alienware. Will never again do a dell owned/supported product.
