The Alienware AW2725DM is an outstanding gaming monitor that strikes the perfect balance between performance and visuals. The QHD resolution makes everything look sharp and detailed, while the IPS panel delivers vibrant colors and wide viewing angles. With a blazing 180Hz refresh rate and 1ms response time, gameplay is buttery smooth and incredibly responsive—perfect for competitive titles. FreeSync works flawlessly, eliminating screen tearing and stuttering, and the build quality is exactly what you’d expect from Alienware: sleek, futuristic, and premium. The stand is sturdy and highly adjustable, making it easy to find the perfect setup. If you’re looking for a monitor that combines stunning visuals with high-end performance, this is a fantastic choice for both gaming and everyday use.

There’s so much to say about this monitor, weather it’s the high build quality the beautiful blue coloring of frame or how smooth it feels when it rotates or goes up and down! I used this with my Ps5 and it looked beautiful I couldn’t notice any motion blur and all the colors popped out amazing. I did end up using it on my Pc as well and it runs the 180hz with 1440p elegantly. Colors felt true, little to no delay, and never one hiccup. With its easy to access settings it’s amazing to set up to any standard. Though the price maybe a little steep (which would be my reasoning of a 4 star rating) it’s a great option for 1440p gaming.

I always thought i prefered TV gaming but i love playing on this monitor. I bought it for PC but have been enjoying it for Ps5 way more. 120 works perfectly for ps5 games and makes games look great on quality mode. Very happy with the brand yay

like it . Really impressed with this monitor so far. The colors look great, motion is super smooth, and the 180Hz refresh rate makes gaming feel very responsive. The screen size is perfect for both work and gaming, and it also works well for my stock trading setup with multiple windows open. Build quality feels premium and setup was easy. Definitely worth the price.

Was a bit skeptical on buying Alienware just because I look at them as the Apple version of the gaming side, but I have to say as far as performance and perks this monitor is extremely well made and solid, I know I hear a lot of mix feelings on the single color and what not but personally I don’t use it so I don’t mind it at all great price on it as well!

My first gaming monitor @ 2k purchased under $200.00 before black friday 2025 $189.99 just $10 more than black friday price. I had purchased this monitor over Samsung G5 $199.99 and LG $189.99 due to detail spec, other monitor had offered display port 1.4 but hdmi 2.0. The AW2725DM has 2.1 hdmi port and 1.4 display port. Using display port bring max 180hz, if purchased a 2nd monitor using hdmi port would have been 144hz with my pc setup. Over all I'm happy with this purchase. I'm a gamer who finally graduated from console (Playstation) to having a Legion Go to building my first Gaming PC (before the rise from He11 prices again from AI)

Great monitor for the price. Exactly what i needed for the pc i have. The monitor does not come with any rgb lights on the back. Only downfall would be the monitor does not have integrated speakers. I have to connect speakers directly to the pc, besides that i am over all happy with the monitor

I already had two monitors at my desk, but these did not allow me to rotate 90 degrees for a long screen instead of a wide one; I use this for email, or when creating documents in Word because it allows me to zoom in further and still see the entire document. Also, you have the option to rotate it 90 degrees clockwise or counterclockwise; this makes a difference because at the bottom of the monitor you have a thicker border and depending on how you orient your monitors you can make sure this falls on the outside. I really appreciated this because I'm very specific about the little details Another benefit, I did not get this monitor for gaming which is what it was advertised for, but in comparison to my other two HP monitors, the graphics appear to be sharper, so this was a nice surprise. What I don't like is that the stand is a grey/blue which doesn't match my aesthetic; I would have preferred space grey or black, but I won't let this affect the rating; I'm going to mount it on a different stand once I find a compatible adapter. TLDR; I'm very satisfied with this investment and considering buying a second. - Using for academics, document creation, & research ++ Quality graphics

This is a very cleanly designed, simplistic, yet powerful monitor for gaming and multipurpose use. Although it’s missing speakers (which I would have liked), it’s not the biggest issue as it performs every other function perfectly for my needs.

I purchased 2 of these with dual monitor desk mount about a week ago. 1440p, FreeSync Pro/GSYNC Compatable, HDR 400, 180hz, 4ms/2ms/1ms G2G Pixel Response, 100x100mm VESA Compatable, HDMI 2.1, DP 1.4, and IPS panel. There is literally nothing to complain about with these monitors. Monitors like this 4 or 5 years ago would have been extremely expensive.

I’ve been using my 27-inch Alienware monitor, and it’s easily one of the best upgrades I’ve made to my setup. The display is crisp, colors are vibrant, and everything just looks incredibly smooth—especially when gaming or watching videos.

For those who want short and quick answer: Go see it in person on display and mess with the user interface. The display is at 60Hz at 1880p so imagine what it’ll look like when fixed properly to 1440p @ 120hz. For more detailed stuff: Pretty solid for PS5 Pro at 1440p @ 90hz—120hz just make sure you use a “certified” HDMI 2.1 cord. If you use any random HDMI 2.1 cord that does not say “certified” you’ll get unstable 78hz—88hz during actual gameplay. I run BF6 on 1440p with 90hz—110hz during actual gameplay and when on the lobby screen at 120hz. Every other game stays stable at 60Hz. It will offer a downscaled 4K @ 60Hz. Settings I use on the PS5 Pro are in photos to achieve what was mentioned above. If you’re looking for a solid portable gaming monitor that is decent, not too expensive, has pretty decent build quality in comparison to Acer and Asus, and you are willing to give up a few options then go with this. Ultimately I have no complaints. I was willing to compromise and in reality it’s not a bad monitor. Pros for PS5 Pro use (in my opinion): - Not too expensive to replace as far as a monitor goes that offers entry level HDMI 2.1 - 1440p @ 120hz max - Feels pretty durable if you take care of your stuff and not just toss it around - Monitor backing/housing color is okay - Entry level HDMI 2.1 port (not the full experience, look into HDMI 2.1 ports on google) - Supports VRR - Customizable RGB settings - Joystick (center bottom of screen) for monitor user interface menu Cons (most I was willing to compromise with): - ALLM does not work with PS5 Pro, only VRR works - No internal speakers - Edge bleed - HDR setting with PS5 Pro is too dim, it looks better and brighter with HDR off.

Hypothesis monitor back in Black Friday. Several months has passed. I enjoy it 4K the 144 Hz is perfect for me. It feels looks nice. The menu is easy to use and I enjoy the blue color way. The only reason it’s not a five out of five stars is no built-in speakers. Highly suggest you pick up this monitor give it a try. Thank you Justin

The graphics on this monitor are amazing—clear, smooth, and vibrant. I thought the 27” screen might feel too small, but it actually worked out perfectly for my 11-year-old son. It’s a great size for his setup and performs really well for gaming. Definitely recommend it.

Honestly, I didn’t know a monitor could make me this happy. The Alienware AW2725DM makes my games look so good that I sometimes forget I’m supposed to be winning — I just sit there staring at the graphics. Smooth gameplay, beautiful colors, and that little “wow” factor every time I turn it on.

I tried out the Alienware 27-inch monitor and honestly, it was great. Super smooth gameplay in 1440p at a low response time, crisp visuals, and perfect for competitive gaming, especially on console. The only reason I ended up returning it is because I personally like playing on a smaller 24-inch screen. But if you’re into bigger monitors, this one’s definitely worth checking out. They also have a 24-inch option that I’m definitely looking into getting as a replacement for my current monitor in my setup.
