This Alexa is so much better in sound quality and hearing compared to my 2nd generation. I love that I can ask her new things and most importantly the speaker is so much more louder and clear. A perfect gift for anyone, goes great with add on's like smart plugs and smart lights!! Plus I love the new design, look at her being so thick and cute.

Its sound much better than expected and louder for the price

Slight learning curve, but now it is like I had them forever. Even my woman, a technophobe, is going from room to room asking Alexa to do this or that. Don't want to live without them and this is one of the smartest purchases I've ever made. Especially like the colored light bulbs that came with them.

I really enjoy this product. I can play music, control my fire tv, and my printer with my voice. Also, I can retrieve news. It is so convenient when you have your hands full (or not usable for touching anything when cooking or eating) to control entertainment features in your home. Very satisfied with this purchase.

This thing is literally amazing!! Blows Siri out of the water!! I didn’t realize it had to be plugged in at all times but I don’t really mind! Other than that it’s awesome, it can do just about anything! And the sound quality is extremely good which I was surprised by because it’s so small! But it gets really loud and sounds good & sharp!

Still trying to see if this version is a worthy upgrade from previous models. So far, this model is still hit or miss when you are calling on her to ask a question or to perform a task. Sometimes it will pick up your requests the first time you call on her, sometimes, it takes 2-3 times and sometimes raising your voice, louder than what anyone should have to speak. I will admit, the sound is much better than previous models. Bass is a little deeper, overall louder. Will continue to use it to get a better feel for it and probably do an update after more time with this model

I love the simple design, the color led ring effect it's so nice. The sound is okay, but this tiny ball almost fill the living room.

Works and sounds great. Easy to set up. Quality is perfect

I purchased this to work along with the Echo Show our son gave us for Christmas. This synced very well with the Echo Show and actually we purchased another dot with clock display for our bedroom. We have the Show in our main room, this dot in our library and the clock in our bedroom. All seem to work seamlessly with each other.

Louder, clearer, and more intuitive than my 2nd Gen Dot.
