I actually thought this was a google echo dot - but surprise, I ordered and Alexa instead. It is great - I have it in my home office - mainly just to listen to music while I work. I don't understand the randomness of when it just stops playing sometimes, but other than that - it is all good!

I’m a fan of the Alexa devices and have been using them for years. This device is a solid upgrade over the hockey puck varieties of past years. It doesn’t have the hardware chops to fill a larger room with sound, but it works great for a smaller room or an extension of other devices.

Completly satisified with this purchase. I was not sure it would be what I wanted for the extra money. I have two of the older dots. I am happy I purchased this. I will buy this one as a secondary device in the future untill they come out with something better.

Not our first echo, this one is to replace a radio in my garage. We are constantly learning new things with them. They also run our lights when we are away, got rid of the timers! The sound quality of these is totally unexpected, rivals our Bose!

Love this Echo Dot. Takes the place of a clock radio. can listen to music and set sleep timer or set routine up via amazon and have the Echo play music every night for an hour. Be sure to read all the different things an Echo Dot can do.

The Amazon Echo is SO CONVENIENT. When I want to listen to some music I can ask Alexa to play anything. I can also play games like Jeopardy each nice. I think everyone should have one of these in their home, especially since it's so much more affordable than ever before.

It was a father's day present, and my dad loved it!

Bought a rechargeable battery powered base for it online and carried it to the patio to enjoy music all summer. It needs to stay in the shade or base will overheat. Worked like all other echoes I own. Sounds great.

Easy configuration and transportation is a good and basic product for listening music. Recommended

Not sure if my son would like it but bought it for him for Christmas. He loves it, He has it set up for his LED lights on his bed, his tv and soon the ones around the room. He walks in his room after school and says, "Alexa let there be light!" and all his lights come on. Love it. Very easy set up also.

I am so glad that I finally bought this! I commute for work and it's so nice to be able to check the traffic and weather when I miss it on the morning news. The sound quality is absolutely FABULOUS! I'm very, very impressed! This is a must have for your home!
