This tablet is perfect for a flight or road trip for the kids. Its nothing fancy with very little bells and whistles but offers ease of use and good battery life. Not much in the way of apps but has all the necessary ones for entertainment streaming

Almost perfect

Not in love with the added size and weight over my older Fire 7. The 7 was definitely more convenient to pack for travel and easier and less tiring to hold. But I needed the extra storage space and the updated programming (plus rumors are that the 7 will be discontinued), so the 8 it is. Hopefully I’ll get used to the size and weight before long.
