Good for home, not good for travel

We purchased ours so our kids could watch movies on an airplane, so they were virtually useless without paying for in-flight wifi. I wish that we would have spent a little more and gotten an Ipad instead.

Perfect Tablet for Children
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.We were having a problem with our 5 year old...we could set a timer on YouTube Kids, but as soon as the timer was up on that, he knew that he could just go out and go into Netflix or any of his games. Sometimes he would be up ALL NIGHT. With the Amazon Fire, the timers are set for the whole tablet..and I can control how late at night he can access anything. It has solved a lot of problems for me.

tablet is great for kids, but get warranty

The replacement cost is about the same as buying a new tablet. Solution = get the warranty that best buy offers. They will replace it for free no problems.
